[About Me heading]

I’ve spent my life trying to make sense of complexity. Without ever meaning to. It’s one of my core skills that’s innately built into me.

It’s shown up everywhere across my professional life and it’s rooted into everything that I’ve been studying and training in since my career re-pivot at the start of 2017.

I grew up as the youngest of seven children in a deeply Catholic household. This created a good amount of regimentation within me but also tipped into a rather unhelpful amount of guilt, shame and fear which I carried around with me for a long time. More on that later.

Music has always been at the centre of my life as something that guides me, gives me a sense of being in connection with something much greater than myself and helps to calm and settle my nervous system. I applied for a place to study Music Technology at Bath Spa University and after turning it down, took my first real job with a friend from school who had decided to found a company directly after finishing A-levels.

This was in the early 2000s when Google was starting to infiltrate all areas of our lives and search and affiliate marketing became lucrative areas where large amounts of wealth could be generated quickly.

I excelled in this environment, quickly learning how to build websites with basic HTML, CSS and PHP. I learnt the rules of search engine marketing - SEO, link building, SEM and how to build relationships with customers and clients.

This job set me up for everything that I went on to do afterwards. It became the blueprints which templated every job that followed.

I moved to London at 22 and started working in agencies. I started in media, quickly moved to digital and then made the jump to advertising. I was magnetised towards projects that were sat on the edge of innovation or the use of cutting edge technology. As well as frequently being involved in IP or brand creation rather than campaign delivery.

I never fitted into any of the tidy little boxes that they had set out within the agency structure: account management, creative, strategy or production. I was always straddling all of these and I’d often get called a Swiss Army knife, a one-man agency or a fire extinguisher. As in, brought in to put out the multiple fires that were raging across all aspects of the project.

Throughout this time I worked extensively on global brands across agencies including Anomaly, Mother and BBH as well as consulting directly to the largest music company in the world, Universal Music Group.

Mid way through 2016 I decided to start looking inwards, after having to navigate some pretty major life events from 2013 to this period. I’d done counselling, therapy and some initial inner exploration before this time, but I’d never gone deep enough.

What followed over this period was a complete re-direction of my life through rigorous studying and training across many different systems related to health and healing: Naturopathic Nutrition, Yoga + Embodied Movement, TRE + Nervous System Regulation, Shadow Work, Family + Systemic Constellations, Shamanism, Energy Systems and Energetic Transformation.

Whilst studying part time I also consulted directly with a start up called Lyphe Group. They’re one of the largest medical cannabis companies in Europe and this role was helping to define and build their individual companies and how they would network and communicate with each other.

In 2020, I joined forces with another Family + Systemic Constellations facilitator and we created our own therapeutic modality called Cascade, which looked at how trans-generational trauma impacts both our mental and physical health.

We piloted the work with over 100 individuals, offering free sessions whilst we refined the process and understood what exactly it was doing. We then launched paid for sessions once we had a handle on what exactly the work was doing.

I also set up my own private healing practice over this period, starting to facilitate my own sessions of work that I was birthing. It was energy work, sitting on top of everything that I’d learnt from 2017 within the fields of nutrition, yoga, movement, TRE and family constellations.
